Dundee Stars went to South Ayr missing a few players and a kit bag. Due to a misunderstanding Ben Edmonds was without his kit bag, and would have missed the game if it were not for  South Ayr supplying spare kit and skates. The Stars took a while to score but once the first one went in this eased the pressure and they went on to score a further seven winning the game 8 - 0. The goal scorers were, Aaron Thomson (3) Craig Garrigan (1) Ben Edmonds (1) Nathan Armstrong (1) Andrew Henderson (1) and Calum Anderson (1)

Man of the Match # 5 Aaron Thomson

STARS TAKE FULL POINTS AND MOVE INTO NEXT ROUND OF SCOTTISH CUP BEATING MURRAYFIELD 6-0 AWAY FROM HOME

Dundee took an early lead against the home team scoring in the first three minutes, but found the going a bit harder as Murrayfield defended well with the netminder in tip top form showing some excellent glove saves that looked like certain goals.  Dundee keeper Shaun Colville had little to do as most of the action was at the other end. Dundee eventually found a way to beat the outstanding keeper running out 6-0 winners. Goals scored by Aaron Thomson (2) Andrew Henderson (2) Nathan Armstrong (1) Pavel Pliskov (1).

Man of the Match # 5 Aaron Thomson

Goalscorers were Andrew Henderson (6) Ben Edmonds (4) Macauley Armstrong (3) Aarran Morgan (1) Robbie Barnett(1) and Pavel Pliskov (1)

Man of the match # 15 Calum Anderson

STARS CRUISE TO VICTORY IN FRIENDLY AGAINST PAISLEY WINNING 9-2

Dundee were awarded the points at DIA due to Paisley not having enough players. Paisley fielded a couple of 14's players but were still a couple short to make a full team. The Stars  fielded some younger players who had plenty ice time. Stars opened the scoring in the first minute then again in the third and looked to be cruising although Paisley did reply with two goals but still went into the second period 5-2 down.     DUNDEE GET BITTEN BY SHARKS AND SUFFER FIRST DEFEAT OF THE SEASON LOSING 1-0

Dundee Stars slipped to their first defeat of the season after a 1-0 reverse to Solway Sharks at DIA. After a tense start to the first period with the play swinging from end to end, Sharks stunned Stars with a breakaway goal after eight minutes. Dundee started the second period well but could not break through the solid visitors defence but were succesful on the penalty kills. Stars never found top gear and will look to redeem themselves with all to play for for both sides in the return fixture in Dumfries with the winners taking the league title.

Man of the match # 5 Aaron Thomson

STARS IN HEAVEN AFTER 3-1 WIN v SOLWAY SHARKS TO RETAIN LEAGUE TITLE

Dundee Stars exacted revenge on the Sharks with a 3-1 win in Dumfries to secure the league title for the second successive season. Stars were quick off the mark going 1-0 up in the second minute of the game and added another before the end of the first period after some slick passing play from defense to attack. Dundee made the game safe with seven minutes remaining with another fine finish before Sharks scored a concelation goal with a minute to go. An excellent Solway side struggled to get any change out of the Dundee defensmen and with some outstanding play on the breakout and tireless skating from the forwards this was a breathtaking display and a great advert for junior hockey. Goalscorers were Aaron Thomson (2) and Pavel Pliskov (1).

Man of the match # 10 Craig Garrigan

Dundee Stars narrowly missed out on doing the league and cup double after an agonising penalty shots loss to Fife in the Scottish Cup Final. Fife opened the scoring early on to go in after the first period 1-0 up. Both sides displayed some good hockey and Fife extended their lead with five minutes to go and looked to have won the game but after sustained pressure, Dundee responded with two late goals to send the game to penalty shots. After still being tied after the mandatory three shots each Fife won the cup after sudden death. Goalscorers in normal time were Craig Garrigan (1)and Aaron Thomson (1).

Man of the match # 20 Kris Inglis

DUNDEE STARS FINISH RUNNER UP IN SWINDON INTERNATIOAL TOURNAMENT

Dundee travelled to Swindon with confidence after a good season to face the cream of junior hockey south of the border. Their first game was against the unbeaten South of England champions Bracknell and it ended in a 2-2 draw. Stars then defeated Swindon 4-1 before another draw against Sheffield. They then defeated Guildford and Milton Keynes to set up a semi-final clash with Bracknell which ended in a 2-1 win after 3 on 3 overtime. In the final versus Sheffield the Stars lost 4-1 but left Swindon with their heads held high and some glowing praise from the officials and spectators. Thanks to Swindon Junior Ice Hockey Club for their hospitality and an awsome tournament.
