Same old storey!
How good was our guys performance in the first 15 minutes,
they more than matched the Kirkcaldy cracks and could have easily been a couple of goals ahead before the fife side manage to edge themselves in front on 17 mins. But by the end of the 1st period, the score was 3-0.
So not to sound too critical, What happend!!!!!!
Only our boys will know!!!!
To be fair,early on the game was a joy to watch, some really slick passing, hard work with the determination of all the guys
and but for the post and some fine goal keeping the score could have looked so much different.
But not to take anything away from Kirkcaldy, thier finishing was clinical and thats what makes them different from everyone else.
A mention to the two u14s Callum & Andy who stepped up
when asked and more than coped with what we all knew would take a monumental effort to secure any type of result
in the first place. Final score : stars 0 v 7 kirkcaldy
